(September 24, 2018, 4:08 pm)Too be honest, I’m not always impressed with the bowls and service at this location, except for when Liana is behind the counter.. then everything is 5 STARS! She is pleasant, personable and makes a damn great bowl! Give her a raise to make sure she doesn’t leave! :-)

(March 31, 2018, 5:40 am)The location is a bit awkward for those that are not members of the Mercedes Club. Enter at ground level and take stairs (quite a few) or elevator. Check in with front desk and put your name on a list. They then point you to the location. Mercedes Club Employees actually more friendly and professional than the actual employees of Playa Bowls.
Location is very small, tucked between the lounge area for club members. Two girls working that were not particularly excited to take my order or share insights. One of them was about to leave, so maybe I caught them at a challenging moment. Very transactional interaction.
I ordered a half/half bowl with coconut and açaí. Toppings were fairly generous, but I found the coconut base to be warm, chalky & chunky. It actually took away from the great taste of the açaí. Super disappointed as I love coconut, but this just seemed way off. This was my first time, so I don’t know if this is just how it’s prepared.
