(December 7, 2018, 10:15 pm)My family have been eating at this restaurant for years, always consistantly great tasting food with very reasonable prices. Spiced the way you want it, non-greasy breads, excellent entrees. We drive over from the westside, the food and service is that good!

(November 21, 2018, 11:20 pm)Food and service was good/fairly standard but for some reason everything we ordered was too sweet. The tandoori sauce tasted more like spicy ketchup unfortunately.

(October 7, 2018, 10:04 pm)Good Indian restaurant (one of the bests in the UES and NYC in my opinion). They don't have a buffet, but the lunch special is a good deal. I like the food, the taste and the portions. I have been going to Mumtaz for the past 5 years, the staff have always been polite and the food has consistently been pretty good.
