(December 22, 2018, 3:19 pm)I really enjoy eating here. It's buffet style, so you can eat as much as you want. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They serve all types of different foods for halal, vegan, kosher and other speciality eaters. My only complaint is that you need to go at certain times since it can get very crowded.

(October 7, 2018, 3:06 pm)Comparing John Jay's and JJ's to dining halls at other Ivy League Universities (esp. Harvard) I cannot put into words how lucky everyone is who can eat there as a student. John Jay/JJ are some of the best university cantines I have seen all over the world and they have an amazing team trying to make good food for the students!

(April 18, 2018, 1:47 am)John Jay Dining Hall is Columbia's largest and, for me, most homely dining hall. The dining hall food here is also the most varied. On Mondays, watch out if you like meat. John Jay serves no main meat entrees for Green Monday every week. There are meat options available, but the lines for these options do get long on Mondays.
